Pick-up from Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun and drive towards Chopta through scenic mountain routes, passing Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers) and Rudraprayag. Arrive in Chopta by evening, check into your camp/hotel, enjoy the serene mountain sunset and dinner. Overnight stay at Chopta.
Early morning after breakfast, start your scenic trek of about 3.5 km to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. For enthusiastic trekkers, scale an additional 1 km up to Chandrashila Peak for stunning 360-degree panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. Trek back down to Chopta by evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Post breakfast, drive to Sari village (the base camp for Deoriatal) and undertake a short 2 km trek through lush green forests to reach the pristine Deoriatal Lake. Witness the crystal-clear reflection of Chaukhamba peaks in the lake waters. Return back to Chopta / Ukhimath for dinner and overnight stay.
After a peaceful breakfast, check out from the camp/hotel and drive back down towards Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun. Drop-off at your preferred location with unforgettable memories of your Chopta-Tungnath spiritual and nature adventure.
